You're the committee. Give your 12 (has to include top 5 conf champs) and seed them 1-12 in order.

HFCS selection committee, hey it's almost as large as the actual CFP committee:
1 - Indiana (13-0)
2 - Ohio State (12-0)
3 - Georgia (12-1)
4 - Texas Tech (12-1)

5 - Oregon (11-1)
6 - Ole Miss (11-1)
7 - A&M (11-1)
8 - BYU (11-1) (I'm so unbiased ranking the big 12 team a spot lower than computers have them)
9 - OU (10-2)
10 - Notre Dame (10-2) (the ACC is still included, they play a metric crap ton of ACC teams every year and dodge the CCG)
11 - Tulane (11-2)
12 - JMU (12-1)

If anybody wants a large computer average of the teams here's massey average prior to the CCGs which actually might be more fair since some teams get to dodge it:
1. Ohio St
2. Indiana
3. Oregon
4. Tech
5. Georgia
6. ND
7. BYU (still think the Big 12 isn't getting F'd by media perception?)
8. A&M
9. Ole Miss
10. Alabama
11. Miami
12. OU
13. Utah (still think the Big 12 isn't getting F'd by media perception?)
21. JMU
34. Tulane

1 - Indiana (13-0)
2 - Ohio State (12-0)
3 - Texas Tech (12-1)
4 - Georgia (12-1)

5 - Oregon (11-1)
6 - A&M (11-1)
7 - Ole Miss (11-1)
8 - OU (10-2)
9 - Notre Dame (10-2)
10 - Miami
11 - Tulane (11-2)
12 - JMU (12-1)

1. Georgia
2. Ole Miss
3. Texas A&M
4. Alabama
5. Texas
6. Oklahoma
7. Vanderbilt
8. Missouri
9. Tennessee
10. LSU
11. Kentucky
12. Florida

Kiffin will coach both Ole Miss and LSU.

Miami and BYU are gonna be left out.
Miami is gonna freak about beat ND.
BYU is gonna say Alabama has 3 losses and got to stay in but we got bumped out?

Guys OSU is 12-1

In my committee we are rational in how we consistently handle that Notre Dame would have an extra loss if they had to play Indiana or Georgia in a title game. We acknowledge the ccg win (the reason my committee moved Indiana above osu) but don’t punish teams that lose it.

What I don’t understand is that everyone made a big deal in the summer about the committee emphasizing strength of record moving forward, yet according to ESPN, BYU eclipses both ND and Miami in that metric (as well as the more traditional Strength of Schedule).

BYU sat at 7th in computer average going into a game vs #4 and they’ll be completely ignored. Miami and Notre Dame don’t have to play an extra game vs #4. At least Alabama didn’t dodge a ccg. I picked ND over Bama but I picked BYU over both.

Another point to stress…if Notre Dame is in that means the ACC is in. Notre Dame is pure ACC football exempted from ACC CCG to help its chances of being selected.
