Probably a bit. Scheduling tough has never been our jam and some years that's okay if Iowa/UNI/Drake are fielding good teams. Our best games in NC are usually in league challenge games or tournaments or the Iowa universities. South Carolina and UConn last year were both "showcase" games we were invited to.
You can maybe make a case we don't need "challenging" in NC this year. We are starting a veteran squad of five juniors. And it's not like we open the conference on the road at TCU or something.
Thanksgiving will at least get us out of state and playing better known schools. Will be better viewing but not sure I am going to subscribe to yet another streaming service, FloHoops, to get the games.
