For that to happen, the area to be built on would have to be rezoned as Ankeny 2040 plan has it In low to high density. Hopefully, all current residents, mostly low density, would fight like hell to keep it residential.
Hope they make it. Ankeny needs some choices on the north side but that location hasn't screamed success to any of the previous tenants (Tavern 180, Tanners).
