    AD Max Urich fired Jim Criner in 1986. The candidates for the job were Jim Walden, Glen Mason and Bill Snyder. He went with Walden. Then left in '93 to be the AD at K-State!

    Anyone know the scoop on why Assalley got the fg/pat job when we had the Narveson kid on scholarship? He transfered to Western Kentucky and only missed one fg (was 50+) this year.

    Why was Brock still in the game for the last two possessions?

    Speaking of cheap shots, TCU should have got flagged when Brock scored one of his touchdowns. He was way over the goal line and got shoved.

    Obviously it works better at night with the cell phone lights, but I'm curious, do other teams play Juicy Wiggle?

    It's kind of ironic how Jim Walden had great kickers when he was here. Jeff Shudak and Ty Stewart were both pretty good. Anyone know why Shudak's kid is at Iowa studying to be an engineer?

    I don't know of one with a business degree from Iowa. If he wants to go to Iowa due to their history with sending linemen to the NFL, thats fine by me.

    Props to the fans at the game tonight.

    One thing I thought was kinda funny...when they showed highlights of other games around the country, they showed Nebraska losing in OT. There was hardly any reaction. Nobody even cared. We've come along way!!!
