    Why not? If it's legal, it's part of the sport. You also shouldn't allow a guy in a tight headlock a restart for faking a choke just to get out of getting pinned.

    OSU could sponsor an entire women's wrestling team for years for the amount of money they are paying a certain women's basketball transfer that is not athletic, can't run, or play defense. I don't want to name names, but this was my opinion while she was still Cyclone. Just saying.

    Not the same in my opinion. Metcalf was a relentless competitor. He didn't verbally go after other HC's.

    We also need to pump the breaks on getting excited about commits. Half of D1 is in the portal. Free agency in college sports in mind blowing for this old guy. This isn't what it was even 5 yrs ago. Losing and picking up at least 10 spots every year is probably our new normal... and everybody...

    I don't know if any of this is true, but my first thought after reading this is clearly the kid is far from peaking. Not too often we get a kid that needs to grow into 125. Eat. Train. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.

    Yes, I assume so. I wasn't sure where the two extra points came from before Grice's match but this makes sense. I sure hope Ryder's shoulder didn't get tore up even worse wrestling that unnecessary time.:cool:
