    Hardest to watch next season.

That is why I voted for her. We have to compete against her. The others are in other conferences that we don't play (unless postseason).

    Tailgate Tour this summer?

Originally I was against it a few years ago but now I am all for them breaking away (if in all sports). As it currently stands it is not anywhere close to equitable. I completely agree with his comment that they only want rules that favor them and don't support anything else. Fox being in bed...

    Lilacs not flowering

Our Lilac bush had just a few blooms. We have a Japanese Tree Lilac that hasn't bloomed yet and doesn't look like it will. About half of our iris plants have not flowered this year too.

Fertilizing my lawn for initial spring application

I put down fertilizer in the fall and now am trying to decide when to put down my spring fertilizer. Some say wait until Memorial Day but should I move more to early May with the amount of rain? I am not putting pre emergent down due to seeding a few spots in my yard.

    Smoking Meat Questions and Discussion

My old Traeger (Silverton model) is from around 2018. I use it at least once or twice a week (even in the winter). The controller went bad and Traeger wanted $165 for a replacement, and I thought it wasn't worth it given the age and condition of the grill. I did try to get an Amazon knock off...

    Rebounding issues

The past few games our rebounding has been a weakness to say the least. It seems like opponents are constantly getting 2 or 3 shots from offensive boards and it is getting maddening. I think in the Houston game there was a time that Houston got 4 shots in a row against us and luckily it none...

Iowa State cancels remaining gymnastics season

If they cut gymnastics what takes its place? We are already at the minimum number of sports required.

    Woodworkers Thread

I did confirm online that the Skil 10in slider would cut a 4x4 since it can go a bit further back (at least from my research). I thought about going to a 12in but if I go to a slider it gets kind of expensive for me. I thought about the 12in sliding hercules from Harbor Freight but can't get...

    Woodworkers Thread

I am going to replace my old Delta 10in miter saw that was my Grandpa's. It still works OK but can't cut completely through 4x4s without flipping them (and then they break turning them) and since it is quite old there are no replacement parts for it and some of the things on it are broken but...

Iowa State earns commitment from 2026 kicker Greg Hubbard

I thought this happened a while ago. I believe he is from Iowa originally, or was that another kicker we got from Washington State?

    Hollywood, stop ruining the classics!

I understand I don't have to watch the remakes but the problem is that if you take out the remakes of things there is nothing else to watch. Disney is just spewing out live action remakes of animated movies or more sequels. I just keep watching the older things and not watching new things...

Iowa State to Play Syracuse on Wednesday at Noon

It is weird that we are 2-0 and playing a team that is not but I don't mind too much. It would for sure be nice to be playing for extra money especially with ISU's financial disadvantage, but oh well. Does Syracuse still play almost exclusively zone or has that changed since Beheim left? We...

    Fall Fertilizing question

I don't think so. I believe the grass should have stopped growing when it is put down, but not sure. I put mine down about 2 weeks ago and wondered if it was a tad early since grass was still growing but it slowed down now.
