As far as I understand it, it'll be considered a redshirt year for anyone participating. They'll compete unattached as CRTC wrestlers. If the five in five becomes official, it would count as one year of participation/eligibility, I believe. -

The good thing is, they'll be wrestling this season, they just won't be going to Nationals. Honestly, women's wrestling is a lot of tournaments and not a ton of duals, so the only main difference this year will be no post season. Better than not competing at all. -
