    Proven winning concept. Have a selfless player who doesn't care if he starts, capable of sparking the team off the bench against the opponent's subs. Usually on the court late in the game, when it matters. I think Heise will embrace that role.

    Brewers haven't been great today, but they've taken advantage of Cub miscues, while the Cubs haven't taken advantage of Brewer miscues. It's been a struggle recently and the Cubs Ed stressed, not loose, not having fun. I do expect a turnaround at some point, with Happ and Suzuki getting hot...

    I thought that might be, young one, or even a young robin. We've got lots of both. It's just the way it moved flitting around, like a wren or warbler.

    Took another bad phone camera shot through the screen. Trying to identify this bird. I thought, because of it's movement and behavior, that it might be a red-breasted nuthatch, but the head looks to be completely black. Any ideas?

    Were Tiger's 15-stroke US Open and 12-stroke Masters not entertaining? I watched quite a bit of the 1st 3 days. Couldn't today, but must say, I enjoy watching the best at their best. Right now, Scheffler is the best and it's not really close.

    I think the bats will heat up again at some point after the break, but I just don't see the Cubs having the pitching to be a serious pennant contender. I also don't see the level of pitching available through trades to solve it. Therefore, I would rather not mortgage the future. Play it out...
