Happy for J Jeff but I just do not care about the NBA enough to pay for League Pass...plus I am a Wolves fan so I was excited for like 10 minutes before he was traded lol.
I hate to compare ourselves to our foes out east but Kinnick is a larger stadium with worse infrastrature from a concourse standpoint and they make it work.
I'm trying to be optimistic but if we play the style of football I believe we will (smash mouth, I-formation) -- that isn't very attractive for elite CFB talent in 2026.
Hoping that whatever play style we have, it's effective.
I'd rather the rich folks get 50 yard line upper deck so they would be out of the camera shot then....would love to just do bleacher style seating where the Sukup EZ currently is and allow the student section be wrapped around that area.
Every camera shot of an empty part of our stadium is a bad look for the program. Everything these days is about perception and that perception is reality.
Why can 95% of the stadium find their seat but the rich folks can't?
I mean Sukup is definitely not in my budget but if it were, I would oh I don't know..........sit in the damn seat I paid for.
I don't get how some of you don't feel embarrassed to see a less than half full Sukup End Zone.....and we have maybe 1 hot weather game and 1 cold weather game all...
And let's be real, no other "big time" program allows re-entry. If we want to truly be seen as a big time program, let's do the things that make us appear that way.
I just don't get paying that much for a seat plus a donation and then just...............................ending up inside at a bar. You might as well save yourself the driving time of getting to and from Ames and just go to your local bar if you want to be around people watching the game...
I am not a drinker but happy for those who have wanted this for years.....I am glad about the re-entry rule too. Hopefully no more half empty second half kickoffs....also let's some how get the Sukup folks to actually plant their butts in their seats.
We were away at BYU and Arizona exclusively this last season, so I'd imagine we get to host them. That's typically how it has gone since the Big 12 expanded beyond 10 teams.
