    Conference Schedule

I saw a headline (On3) saying the Big 12 coaches voting puts K State and ISU in the conference championship game in December. Not much respect for ASU or TTU. Only real question is, did the coaches really do the poll, or was it the guy who does the laundry?

Nebraska gives Scott Frost much deserved extension to only fire him.

On talk radio it seems they are pretty excited about maybe going 8-4 this year. Just seems like 8 or 9 is always going to be their ceiling for wins. Although with 18 teams, you are bound to get a season where you play nothing but teams you can beat. They have a lot of money to buy a great team...

    Mow or Weed Eat First

I suspect there are several on here who do weed first, and then just don't care about mowing.

    2025-26 Schedule

ESPN top 25 only has 6 teams ranked from Big 12. No Baylor, no K State, no Cincinnati. We have some teams that it would be nice for them to step up their game. Maybe they will. If they have the funds. I fear the imbalance in football profits is affecting basketball too.

RECRUITING: Jett Thomalla (4-star QB 2026 commit) flips to Alabama

Keep in mind who our head coach is and how much he deeply cares about the young men he develops relationships with. I have no doubt he and Thomalla are still good. And if we add another QB, I would expect it is with the understanding we would still take back Thomalla, unlikely as it may be.

BYU QB accused of sexual assault

Exactly! So here is the ONE guy who was violating the "Honor Code." Meanwhile, the rest of our little angels will go on to play clean, fair football while being totally honest and ethical both on the field and off. Um, no. That's just not how it works. I mean, the athletes felt entitled in the...

    ***2025-26 College Football (non-ISU) Thread***

Somehow, in today's environment and the lack of ethics, it would seem highly unlikely for a school, even BYU, to dismiss a starting returning QB of this caliber. There's just no reason to shoot yourself in the foot anymore. No one will even raise an eyebrow when he starts their first game.

    The Birdcage

I agree. I have watched it a few times. Always funny. PIRIN still makes me laugh and we refer to it whenever one of us has an ailment.

Imbedded video ad on main page and forum pages

Yeah, CF just morphs into a Norton virus scan, telling me I have 12 viruses in my Amazon pad. Well, one of them is Norton, I think, right? So is that supposed to make me want to buy Norton? More like blackmail. "Buy our product or you will keep getting this ad! Bwah - ha - ha!!!"

RECRUITING: Jett Thomalla (4-star QB 2026 commit) flips to Alabama

He'll have tough competition, for sure. You know what, though, at ISU he has to beat out Moberly and Manske. They are both really good, too. It's not going to be easy at any top 25 program, which both schools are now.

RECRUITING STORIES: Ajibola Afuye & Brysen Wessell

Well by now we all know how CMC intends to handle building his team every year. I think for ISU this is the right choice and perhaps for now our only real choice. Recruit the best high school talent you can get with guys you can develop into the best versions of themselves. Once the season is...

Question on Jack Trice Bleachers pre Sukup

That was when I first bought season tickets, the year they put in those permanent bleachers. I think a season ticket there was something like $150 and of course no donation required. They had porta-potties under the seats. Otherwise, you had to hike all the way up on the east or west sides to...
