    Have you considered taking 330 to 30 to 151? It is shorter, faster*, and there are chargers in Cedar Rapids. This is the way we go (frequent visits to Dubuque) and I smoked that route for an EV, albeit one with the Tesla style charger. *faster at least for us due to our location in Ankeny

    Live here and can verify. It takes longer to go from east to west side than it does to go from East side to West Des Moines. Also they have disruptive road construction down to an art: if there are three ways to get from point A to B, 2 of them will be under road construction.

    3 years to grow the herd: Starting from the moment the market shifts to make growing the herd (keeping heifers around) more attractive, which isn't the case right now. Who knows when that will turn. Long story short, market isn't changing much for at least 3 years.

    We test drove the Lexus rz450, liked it but passed. It is noticeably smaller on the interior (or seems that way) than her current Outback. Waiting on the i3, but I suspect it will meet the same fate due to the interior size. On a minor note the dash display is notably outdated on the Lexus too...
