    I still think Iowa State has something to sell those kids, but being 3rd string at Alabama and making $100,000/yr to do it isn’t a bad gig for an 18-22 year old.

    There has always been good players buried on depth charts at the top programs. Free education, fun times/experiences on a winning program and now the prospect of legal, significant cash to do that? Lot of kids will sign up for that.

    It's the main reason I am adamant against streaming as a major part of a media deal. Your content has to be easy to access and forcing someone out of their normal TV viewing situation and into a separate app makes your content less available and more irrelevant to the non-die-hard fan.
