    Pac 12 expansion article

The Cincy and Memphis train thankfully blew by a couple of years ago with the David Boren expansion exploration fiasco and isn't coming back.

    Pac 12 expansion article

I think the odds are higher of a B12 alliance or merger with the P12 than expansion and that would be likely driven by a new media entrant like Amazon in an attempt to aggregate content for Prime and buying out PACN. And I agree with you on Mizzou and Nebraska. Ideally, I would trade WVU to...

Pac 12 to split with Larry Scott

Yeah, Pete Fiutak is clueless with his take on potential P12 expansion. With the future of PACN essentially DOA as a conference owned entity. the Pac 12 would be better served by going back to 10 schools. While that likely won't happen and with Larry Scott out of the picture, the odds have...

    Jenna Brandt Transferring...

Sauer from Mizzou to TX Tech, Brown from Miss St to Iowa, Jackson from Tulsa to ???? Did ISU get involved with Sauer or Brown? And if not, was it likely due to lack of available schollies? Jackson played HS at Davenport North. According to Tulsa bio, her parents are Dell Allen and Theresa...

Here is 4/30 JW interview with CJL. CJL mentions that Herrera is returning for the fall. No explicit mention of other players not returning that do have eligibility remaining.

    Jenna Brandt Transferring...

Avery Rhodes and Brooke Andersen have had multiple injury issues so I suspect it may be one of those two, (if an additional player is leaving for medical reasons).

Purdue just came back on High Point from 24-18

Kaylee Manns was from Topeka which is close. CJL not only needs to addressing the setter position but every other position as well with the possible exception of MB (assuming Herrera returns). The gap that has emerged between ISU and top programs like BU and UT is growing (0-12 against those...

Purdue just came back on High Point from 24-18

Lilly was National POY and Sunderland is right, she is one of the best collegiate setters ever. Not only can she set but she had multiple blocks and 19 digs as well.

Purdue just came back on High Point from 24-18

Sunderland and Salima called UT games on LHN during the season. I don't notice any favoritism. I think Sunderland is terrific calling VB. and Salima is good as well.

Tom Manning a candidate for KU FB job

It doesn't matter who KU hires until they get a renovated FB stadium funded.

    Kylie Feuerbach in transfer portal

Bill has certainly earned the right to leave on his terms but he has not earned the right IMO to significantly influence the choosing of his successor. The program has the potential to achieve better results and I don't think Steyer or Billy can do so as Bill's replacement.

Here is the list: https://www.ncaa.com/news/volleyball-women/article/2021-04-21/womens-di-college-volleyball-all-americans-spring-2021-season No ISU players are listed. Iowans on the list include: Kylie Deberg - Mizzou Taryn Knuth - Florida St Devyn Robinson - Wisconsin Haley Bush - Drake...

Purdue just came back on High Point from 24-18

Yep, that is extremely odd IMO when compared to the # of female WBB HCs who have won national titles. Is there really a discernible difference in coaching VB vs WBB that would cause that anomaly?

    Tuesday Musings Stansbury article

The NBA did try it and rightfully ditched it for very good business reasons. There has been talk of them reverting back to drafting HS players but I see no reason for them to do so. The business reasons for not drafting HS players still exist today. I think the best plan going forward is that...

    Tuesday Musings Stansbury article

It depends on what Stanz was actually arguing for. I don't think that rational old timers have a problem with the portal. Many do have an issue with immediate eligibility after a transfer and the unintended consequences of tampering and roster poaching by high majors of mid/low major programs...
