2026 Big 12 Football Schedule Reveal

The nice thing is that it doesn't matter. Arizona State was picked last two years ago and won the conference. BYU was not highly regarded in August and went 11-2 with two losses to the NIL machine.

2026 Big 12 Football Schedule Reveal

This year more than any other year, the floor is 0 and the ceiling is 16. We know nothing about the guys on the team yet! Having said that, the early schedule could be tough. All it would take is for WVU to be good/us to stumble there, and we're looking at a real chance of being 2-5 heading...

2026 Big 12 Football Schedule Reveal

No back to back road games (other than with a bye in between) Bye is exactly in the middle of the season The three warm-weather road games are on Oct. 24 or later Other than jumping right into it with Utah as the first conference game, this is pretty much as good as it could have been.

Blum talked about this too and suggested the moneyball approach was not to go into bidding wars early for positions that end up with a glut of guys remaining at the end (like RB). The longer you stay in the portal, the more your price drops. The early bidding wars are best fought over the...

The portal "closing" is just when guys can no longer enter it. But everyone who enters before the closing can wait as long as August to officially transfer. I imagine we will want to grab guys early enough to enroll for the spring semester, but I think that technically could be a couple more...

Chicago Bears bought Arlington Heights track only to build in Indiana?

And it's for emotional reasons only, not economic ones. It's basically impossible for me to locate a serious economics take that conflicts with the consensus: subsidies are a giveaway to billionaires. Even when you account for business spillover effects...

Chicago Bears bought Arlington Heights track only to build in Indiana?

This is also my opinion about all of these stadiums. Time and again, economic studies prove that subsidies for professional sports stadiums are net losers for the taxpayers. We should have a federal law banning tax subsidies for NFL/MLB/NBA/NHL at minimum to prevent these races to the bottom...
