    The nice thing is that it doesn't matter. Arizona State was picked last two years ago and won the conference. BYU was not highly regarded in August and went 11-2 with two losses to the NIL machine.

    This year more than any other year, the floor is 0 and the ceiling is 16. We know nothing about the guys on the team yet! Having said that, the early schedule could be tough. All it would take is for WVU to be good/us to stumble there, and we're looking at a real chance of being 2-5 heading...

    No back to back road games (other than with a bye in between) Bye is exactly in the middle of the season The three warm-weather road games are on Oct. 24 or later Other than jumping right into it with Utah as the first conference game, this is pretty much as good as it could have been.

    Correct, but 2026 will be the first time since 1931 that Iowa State doesn’t play Kansas. Ending a 94-year consecutive streak of ISU-KU games.

    This is also my opinion about all of these stadiums. Time and again, economic studies prove that subsidies for professional sports stadiums are net losers for the taxpayers. We should have a federal law banning tax subsidies for NFL/MLB/NBA/NHL at minimum to prevent these races to the bottom...
