    Seems odd that Iowa is that high. I thought their portal additions were viewed as fairly meh? I also dont believe any of the HS kids were even top 100 players. Just dont get it.

    Yep, have you ever done a 3-4 mile ski run without stops starting on a double black and working all the way down the mountain? Im guessing not, if you did you'd realize its far more work on your cardio than running up and down a court.

    I live at sea level, 200 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. So those athletes train at a higher elevation than Im exposed to daily. Tell me again what I need to learn?

    What a BS answer. Im in my mid 40s and managed to ski from open to close 5 days in a row at Breckenridge without being gassed. And Breck (the town) is about 4300 feet above Boulder. Top peak is about 7,570 feet above Boulders elevation. And no one has ever confused me with being a D1 athlete.

    What exactly has he accomplished while on campus? I haven't seen anything that shows me he will be an exceptional coach (nor could any coach given the time period he was hired).

    Just saw this. My hawk friend sent me an interview with him. Basically said once Iowa offered it was a done deal as he grew up an Iowa fan. One of the reasons I put little faith in the projections early on. How many LBs does Iowa take a year? Seems like every year they take 3-5 in state LBers!
