Yes new rules are 5 years no matter what. No redshirts of any kind. Class of 27 has to be 5 for 5 no matter what. Class of 25 and before are all under old rules. Class of ‘26 has a choice of old rules or new. Since he’ll miss this season he’ll opt into old rules now just for more flexibility- CycloneT
