    It's definitely more "daunting" on the surface than the actual records and general strength of opponents. At that time, Illinois was so-so, Oregon was irrelevant. FSU already was having success, just not as much so that season.

    TD obviously was legendary. Were the OLs for those teams better than they get credit? I have almost no idea, can't remember those rosters in depth and honestly my interest in ISU FB had waned a bit from early '90s until late '90s.

    Looks like a "lateral design move." The numeral update is a bit meh, the partial pant stripe is dorky. Beyond that, looks about that same. I'm no fan of NU, but I think the basic FB uniform is fine. The W-W-R road uni is especially clean.
