Retirement Targets

Winter tires - General Thread

OT - Cutting Cable
Going to cut the cable with Mediacom later this week. Have my phone/internet/cable through them and have been on a promo rate of $173 per month and now they want $273..I'm saying the hell with that! Local start up has a radio wave system that feeds into a fiber network. Speeds are slower... -

The price differential is close enough now it seems like a no brainer. Back when they cost 10 K for a TV no way, but that has changed. -

Mac McCausland passes away
Mac was a good guy by all accounts. One of the biggest Cyclone fans I know in the Cedar Valley was friends with him and they used to go to some sporting events together. Sorry to hear the news.- Bobber

Need new cell phone
Swappa is a good site to buy used phones. I have bought a bunch of phones there for the family with no issues. All Apples for my kids and Samsung for me. I have an old S9 that is still going strong and I bought it used. -

Saw an implant specialist today. I lost this molar years ago when I was at Iowa State(eating popcorn) so was worried would need a bone graft due to bone loss. He was concerned too, but when we did a 3D scan of the mouth, it showed more bone there than he visually could determine. He's... -
