We are done going to Bowls
I have to imagine it's gonna be a little tougher for our conference to get 7 or 8 bowl bids like we have been. 6-6 may not cut it if several teams finish the season with that record. All in all though, you have to say the scenario that played out is the best possible one for our schools. -

The North divisions schedule did get a little tougher. Basically, all the North teams are now in the same situation Baylor has been in for 15 years. This is the best thing that has happened to us since Mike Singletary. -

Hahahaha....Houston is school full of short busses. If you we're to actually rank them....(academically) 1) Rice 2) Texas 3) Texas A&M 4) SMU 5) Baylor TCU is still ranked Tier 1 but somewhere around 110 -120th nationally. Jeez...give us a little credit. We're still ranked a... -

Really? OK....FCS.....D-I AA....whatever it's called. I was just making a point that you can pick and choose any stats you want to skew numbers. We did play a common opponent in Kent State. We equally kicked their a$$. Stats depend on the game week to week. You can see that is true with both ISU... -
OL vs. DL Recruiting Question
There aren't nearly as many high caliber D-Line recruits as O-Line recruits...especially DT's. Many college defensive line players are converted from the offensive line. -
Baylor must not be very good against the run
Iowa State must not be very good against the run. NDST gained 210 yards on 38 carries and that included the QB going 11 carries for 4 yards. That is 7.6 ypc. The D-II school Baylor played was absolutely ANNIALATED. Next? -

At that point in time, no one realized just how bad Baylor was going to become. That was only our 3rd losing season in a row, and we beat Texas that year. -
