    I'm sure of that. I'm guessing they'd be somewhere like a D-2 or D-3. My guess is a lot of players that could've played D2 or D3 and opted to just go to school and got the itch to play. Hell, when ISU had a scholarship baseball team we got trucked by conference schools.

    Any idea what about an equivalent talent level is? I would suspect it is still pretty good. Unlike FB or BB, most D1 scholarships are partial and lots PWO. There are probably a lot of damn good baseball players that just end up hanging it up and going to school that might find this attractive.

    Same problem that goes back to our ******* legislature that voted down having funding follow in-state students. That would solve UNIs budget problems. But since it hurts University of Iowa, our legislature prefers to subsidize suburban Chicago kids going to U of I.
