Has anybody been as wrong about anything as espn has been about the pacers every single round? Nobody there even had OKC in 6 or 7. 100% of them are wrong already.

It wasn’t that tough to pick Indy over Cave or Knicks, they objectively had been the better team for months.

I've always noticed this with great athletes. Tiger can talk about rounds from 20 years ago shot by shot. Peyton can talk about plays and what/why the adjustment was before a clip is rolled

Curtis Jones does it too. Whenever he talks about a play, he describes the entire court and the flow of the game.

It's not just ESPN. r/NBA was mostly OKC in 5 or 6 and they love Haliburton and this Pacers team. I thought OKC in 5 too

Know I'm pretty biased but he is one of those guys that can give a half/post game interview that's worth listening to. He's good on a mic, and has a good memory for those kind of things. Compare that to the halftime interview that Holmgrem gave....

Glad to see the Pacers win in suboptimal conditions. But I would really like for them to win a blow out here in game 4. For my hearts sake.
The have a chance to play one of their great games and be the first team to get to 3 wins. All they would need then would be one more. It would be a great upset.

OKC was everyone's favorite, but the Thunder are playing with fire now.

Pro tip, half time and post game switch to Indy's radio to avoid Screaming A Smith.

1070 The Fan on TuneIn App (free, legal)

I usually go walk to the store with it on audio during halftime especially when it's ESPN horror show.
I'm watching "NBA Live at the Finals" post game. Barkley, Grant Hill, etc. Earlier, Shaq and Kenny the Jet were on. Only one I haven't seen from TNT was Ernie. He is certainly missed.

So much better than Stephen A Smith and company! I will turn off the TV rather than watch them.

Indiana
SVP is good, but ESPN
OKC in 5 before series was fine.

Every single goon on ESPN had OKC in five after game 2. That’s being objectively horrible at your job.
ESPN has Perkins and Jefferson as their only NBA players on TV for the finals. Compare that to TNT. ESPN is so substandard. A real joke.

I’ll catch it tomorrow when some Chinese YouTuber uploads it haha.

They have Tim Legler who is really good and they don't use him for pregame and post game. I don't get why they want hot takes for the actual games

Exactly, let Screamin A have his show if morons actually watch that, that crap shouldn’t be part of pre/half/post.

OKC is great, but it feels like the Pacers are getting more comfortable. The pressure is definitely on OKC now.

3 games now, OKC gets slightly more tired every quarter every game. Indy closes strong for a reason, fans here complaining about it wanting starters in more, but Carlisle’s rotations all year is why they finish stronger than other teams.

Honestly, I believed Indiana had a chance but they way they wore them down end of this game was astounding.

I thought that Ind may not be able to outplay/speed up OKC as they did others but man they did it.

7 game series benefits the team that can adjust and adjust. Rick C and staff had a great game plan and execution.

The way they made SGA work for what he got and Chet working so hard. Feels like early Bulls teams getting bullied by Pistons.

Dang.

I think great offenses can overcome great defense with repetition. The wild card is that OKC has the scoring leader who happens to be an MVP. Great series!
