Why did they not stop play when Indiana had a player down with the ball?

There's a common answer to a lot of these questions and it has something to do with Timothy Chalamet wearing pink pajamas courtside.

Jarace Walker was surprisingly awesome for Pacers down stretch in regular season but he probably was about to be done for the game, would be great to hear he can come back from that.
