I would bet you my life savings if the Chiefs called SF tomorrow and offered Mahomes straight up for Purdy Lynch would not hesitate for a second to take it and probably would wonder if the Chiefs GM was drunk. Just stop it with the nonsense...
KC didn't deserve the playoffs, committee should have put SF in instead.
It's okay. Mahomes is gonna build up his awful stats a little during mop up time which has already begun.

Chief fans are almost as bad as Cowboy fans. Iowa fans, of course are the worst.
The sad thing is this tool is trying to bait us into hating on Purdy which I'm pretty sure none of us do. We're ISU fans and we love Purdy but come on man to say Purdy is better than Mahomes even now is not even a debate. The whole "talking about the present" is dumb too, Mahomes just won back to back Super Bowls and had the very rare chance to threepeat tonight which very few have ever had a chance to do. You don't get there by just being an average QB. I hope Brock winds up winning multiple rings some day but he's had a loaded roster to work with and hasn't won 1 yet and missed the playoffs this year so if you want to compare present Mahomes made it back to the SB this year and Brock did not.
I could care less about passer ratings, You want to know who the top 5 QB ratings were this season: Jackson, Goff, Burrow, Mayfield, Hurts. So 4 of the top 5 guys did not make it to the last game of the season. There are 7 other starting QB with a higher passer rating before you get to Purdy to so by your standard if you want to use QB rating he was just a middle of the pack QB this season. He also got picked off 12 times which ties him for 3rd most in the league. Again I hate bringing up negatives about Brock but you made it about stats so here we are...

This all began last year (Purdy's 2nd season) when I mentioned that right now Purdy was playing at just as high a level as Mahomes. You would have thought I said Hitler went to Heaven. Deadeye and a few others practically had seizures at the thought of me even including Purdy's name in the same sentence as Saint Mahomes.
If Purdy had a performance as bad as the one by Mahomes tonight, the critics would be going absolutely crazy. But that's okay. Two NFL championship games and one Superbowl in his first four seasons is pretty impressive.
JFC they wouldn't be bagging on Purdy if his line couldn't protect him. Win a few Super Bowls and some MVPs and Purdy would no doubt get the benefit of the doubt. Problem solved.
One positive from the game is Worthy has the potential to be the deep threat WR the Chiefs have not had since trading away Tyreek Hill.
If you can't protect your receiver can't get deep anyway. But in general you are right and the Chiefs need a legitimate WR. I feel good with Rice coming back. The offense was bad all year. The most positive thing I took out of this year is that we will be able to win game without an all-world TE because Kelce hasn't been that in 2 years. Fix the OL and possibly bring in another offensive weapon and there's no reason to think we aren't a contender again. Who is better in the AFC.
