Five NFL players who were suspended indefinitely for violating the league's gambling policy in 2023 have been reinstated. Enyi Uwazurike was not one of them, but they were all suspended before him and have been suspended around a year.

I know this gets passed on to taxpayers and such, but get them for every dime you can. What an absolute, unabated joke this all has turned out to be.
Here we go. As an Iowa taxpayer, not sure if i love this or not, but after everything these kids had to endure for what seems to be no good reason, take em to the ******* cleaners
Good for them. I hope they gut the State, especially the support the investigation got from all levels of state government and law enforcement.

Agreed. Being its government agencies. Someone will be able to open records request and it will be disclosed at some point if it comes to a settlement.
I just can't see the State wanting to battle this out in court. Plaintiffs hold all the cards, no way they shouldn't get almost everything they ask.
What I would love to know is how far up the chain of command did this cluster **** go?
Who decided to green light this disaster?
I've always thought that there has to be a political angle here. Some elected official(s) who would then use the results to run on a "tough on crime/gambling" type message.
