***Official 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Thread***

McCullar ruled out for KU. Feel bad for him, but zero percent surprised this was announced post brackets.

Committee should remember this when seeding KU in the future if they have players sitting out end of season.

They need to just stop considering injuries at all. Its never consistent (we certainly didn't get credit for Ward being out in our noncon), is prone to teams gaming things.

Just rate teams based on what they achieved. No considering injuries. No considering how they scheduled or trying to send 'messages' based on that.

Let's see if Virginia can surpass our 41 points in last year's tournament.

somebody needs to come get their boy Virginia. why are they in the tournament? Would be extremely ticked if i was OU, Indy State, etc.

Definitely just heard a spectator yell “You should’ve NEVER gotten in!”

This is pathetic - not Virginia, the committee. Time to start over on the process and outsource to people who understand basketball.

I don't ever want to hear the words "pre-conference strength of schedule" coming from the mouths of an ACC school ever again. (I get it, it was Clemson and not Virginia, but this was what Clemson were advocating for)

Totally random question - don’t know where else to ask and don’t want to create a thread for it.

What is the “frosted tips” reference I heard Blum and CW talking about on their podcast this weekend?

I'm convinced Virginia (the #3 seed in the ACC) got in on the coattails of UNC's #1 NCAA seeding & is still benefiting from being a FORMER perennial S16-or-better tourney team.
