***2023-24 College Football Thread***

It's wild how much OU grew on my dislike list. At first I thought they were just along for the SEC ride but so many online comments by their fans have rubbed me the wrong way.
They have been the class of the Big12 for so long, and they are ******* good, actually deserving, of that, but turn around and play like a bunch of losers (I can’t type words I want to use) in situations like this.

Go **** yourself in the SEC. Charmin.

OU is so screwed in the SEC. Their fans are too stupid to realize they had it made in the Big 12, but in the SEC they are about to become the new Nebraska where the glory days will be all they have. Texas will be fine, but OU is in for a rude awakening imo.

I get what you’re saying, but not sure I’m there yet. It all depends on the type iof athlete they recruit.

Oklahoma can get essentially anyone they want just because they are Oklahoma. NiL isn’t a concern for them. They just can’t stop putting pussies on the field.

Does OU have a bunch of opt outs on the OL? They are just clueless on high school level stunts. Probably the worst I’ve seen since ISU vs West Virginia last year.

What an utterly embarrassing way for that program to depart. Tell me how much money you’re getting to go to the SEC. Guess what? I’m don’t care. Your program is about as soft as a colo-prep.

Yes believe 2 or 3 of them were out.

OU will have success at home in the SEC, but they do not really play all that well away from Norman, not a championship level team since 2020.

They have been a black eye for the Big 12 forever. I think worse than Texas actually. In the national spotlight, they have done more damage for the conference, plus/minus, than they have ever propped it up.

Arkansas has been pretty irrelevant in the SEC and I think that's probably a close to comp for OU going forward. I think they'll be slightly better than that because of how close they are to TX but not by a ton.

I hope they lose to Vanderbilt

Are you referring to Nebraska's changing conferences?

Semantics but Nebraska was already like that before moving to the B1G. They were never Nebraska again after 2001 and even that season we saw their demise in their last two games.

They got lit up a couple of times early in the B1G but were generally competitive with Pelini and averaged roughly 9.5 wins/season with him regardless of conference.
