We should beat BYU and make a bowl game. Honestly we got Okie State at the right time of the season or we would not be in a good position. Then again maybe if we had Ohio later in the season we beat them. Either way, minus Okie State, our wins are against terrible teams. A bowl game would still be a step forward though
whatever team that was that played Ohio doesn't exist anymore. We were still figuring it out, learning positions, slept walked into the game, coaches were not prepared and willing to adapt to what Ohio was doing and we had a crap ton of people sick.

Play them now, we win easy. but that is the way it is..

Other than not dealing with illness, your description is exactly the way we looked last night.

Palm has us in Shreveport playing Mississippi State.

Campbell's "******** programs care about 6-6" does apply because what you get is BS bowls.

Woof. Shreveport is the butt hole of Louisiana and Louisiana is the butt hole of America. Plus playing a next door team. 90% it's wrong cause Palm but 6-6 will get us this level so who knows.

I do REALLY REALLY want to finish at 6-6 or somehow get to 7-5. I just likely won't care about the 6-6 bowl much. We don't seem to play well in them most of the time. Would watch but not with much enthusiasm other than not wanting to lose and have a losing record for the year.

Lol, some of these bowl games are just getting ridiculous.

I am not sure they can . Based on what happened last night they will struggle to beat BYU. We will not beat TexAss nor Purple Kitties. 6-6 or 5-7. What we all expected at beginning of year. Inexperienced OC who is afraid of CMC ire and a predictable secondary setup due to 3 man rush is easily fooled. The team is in game 10 now and still executing like game 1. We have too many FCS players on this team. Sad but true. Safety and LB is weak , new OL coach has not improved the line and RB’s are overrated. QB is serviceable - when they let him loose. Young is tired argument - more experience does not make lesser players better - see Oline for past 6 years. Mediocre team in year 7. Nothing has changed.

Go cheer for Iowa.

Still sticking with my 5-7/no bowl, after KU loss.

The path to this point varied a little from my preseason.

Wins I guessed were UNI, Ohio, Oklahoma State/TCU (but not both), Cincinnati and Kansas.

I projected a loss at Baylor, thought this might be bounce-back season for BU and we rarely perform well there consistently. I didn't expect BU to be super-bad.

I might have more confidence in beating BYU compared to preseason forecast, although I went with L mainly due to being a road game.

Not an impossible task to beat UT or KSU, but I certainly don't expect either.

If we are able to make a bowl game, which one do you think we will go to and which one do you want to go to?

I think we go 6-6 and go to either Dallas or Shreveport. I'd rather go to Dallas though the day after Christmas is tough.

The BYU game doesn't feel right at all.
