You are spot on, and it’s why guys like Djokovic and Kyrgios have championed spreading the prize money out. Those guys like Nadal, Djokovic and Federer don’t need it. They deserve it obviously, but if you want to grow the sport you have to find better ways to get these people playing challengers and low-level tournaments a little more pay. Most players dont carry a physio, which is massive. The coaching and team that these top few players have is unreal. You need money to get places in tennis.

Haven’t seen that documentary. Have to check it out. Thank you!
I think that’s one of the main goals for the PTPA organization that was started by Novak. To basically spread the wealth more, give players more power, and make it more realistic to live off of tennis for players outside top 50.

But I think tournaments don’t like this idea, and there is a problem with ATP not liking competition.

Quite the tournament so far for the Americans. Some really good tennis from the men especially even in losses. But just some big wins last night.

I just finished all 5 episodes of Break/Point on Netflix. Really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to when they release the next segment.

Not sure what time it is down under but not a lot left in the crowd for Murray and Kokknakis and that last service game took forever

Ok now they said it’s 2:22 am. I see why the crowd is thin. Annoyed I had to pull this up on plus though, ESPN runs these talking head shows all day.

Murray takes it to fifth set at 3:00 am, even down an add and not getting his first serve in twice in a row

Murray is a fantastic player, but he always seemed like a whiner and that's why I don't root for him.
I have never been a fan but just looking for someone to beat Djokovic. Hoping it’s one of the Americans. I would guess anyone who went through what Murray did though might be a hot mess.

I will give hime some props right now though...if he is as banged up as he looks right now...he is flat out giving his everything! He looks like he should have been defeated in straight sets but he has toughed this one out! I am not a fan of his...but I will give the guy some props for sure!

I thought I followed tennis closely but apparently not. Never heard of Jensen Brooksby before and he got a good win here.
