I saw that one yesterday. It's interesting to see the different takes from the different folks. In the end, we won't know for a couple years what the verdict is. Doesn't really matter what Williams does, IMHO. Teams get judged by the players they have and how they perform on the field, not the ones they COULD have drafted.
The issue is not the Cousins cap hit.
How many of the guys on this list of the top ten Vikings cap hits last year would you say was money well spent? How many were worse than Cousins?

The Vikings money is committed to a QB, corner, center, running back, fullback, off-ball linebacker, safety, run stopping defensive tackles.
The issue isn't the QB, the issue is spending absurd resources at running the ball and stopping the run when running doesn't matter nearly as much as passing.
Don't forget Asamoah.
It seemed like most of the concerns were that it could mess with the status-quo. Like they are worried if KAM was right.

Interesting that their bye is not in proximity to their London game. Traditionally, they have tried to keep those close together.
I'm not mad about it. Rather have the bye in week 7 as opposed to week 5, anyway. Teams/players prefer later in the year from what I have heard.
Yep, teams have choice after London games if they want bye or not. Some have declined it. I saw the Packers & Bears don't have their Bye till Week 14. That is probably too late.

Here's some video from the draft room right after the trade with Detroit. They wanted Cine from the outset. They were just hoping he'd be there at 32
Hoping the new guy is there to tell KAM to stop trading 1st round picks to NFC North teams and not asking for enough in return.
