TH reminds me of slightly less talented Marcus Smart
Smart is 6'3" and 220 with a 6'9" wingspan.
Hunter is 6' and 178 with a 6'4.5" wingspan.
I am not sure the difference is so much talent as it is size.

I understand that he does have an agent.I thought that was firmly debunked by his close sources??
Has he taken all of his visits?Right but don't you suppose the agency is waiting on offers to recoup some or they only get paid if he makes the league?

I'm not sure why they or the agency wouldn't be promoting it. Just about any reputable agency will promote the clients they have and announce their signing to help build the agency's brand. Not saying he has or doesn't have a deal but it makes little sense for either party to not be open about it especially the agency.Do you really expect his close sources to confirm that?

Because it grows the agency's brand? Whenever an agency signs a client (especially an athlete) there is usually an announcement about it because it they want people to know they are affiliated with an athlete and it signals to other athletes looking for an agent that they are a player. That's why these alleged NIL deals and agency signings are most likely just internet rumors. Anyone giving these huge payouts would want people to know and the agencies would want to brag about how they secured the deal so they could sign additional athletes.I am sure the agent is promoting him with suitors, but why would they want it out in public? I wouldn't want it out there that I was a money hungry sellout, who thinks he is worth more than anybody is going to give him.

Smart is much bigger than Tyrese.
Yikes. When I see Marcus Smart on TV it always makes him look much smaller than he is.
I love NBA comps and my favorite for Tyrese is Isaiah Thomas (the old one).
Nah they would say "agency x is proud to be representing tyrese hunter the Big 12 Freshman of the year!'What would they be announcing as an agency "our regionally somewhat known client hasn't signed anywhere"
This started well before that crackdown though, but to your point if this happened today I could see being stealthy about it.I haven't closely followed the purported NCAA "crack down" on NIL collaboratives, but from what I gather they intend to start looking at "intent" with some of these NIL deals. I'd venture to guess the less you put out there about agents searching for a big paycheck, the better.

You need a bigger TV so the players are life size. When I see Marcus Smart on TV it always makes him look much smaller than he is.
We can agree to disagree. Overall percentage is a better indicator than picking and choosing certain timeframes to validate your point.Good lord, am I going to have to post his progression behind the arc again? Look it up. The first third of the season he was atrocious against non-con teams including the only patsies the team played. The second third he was better against Big 12 defenses and the final third he was better still against Big 12 and tournament teams. He was a true freshman adjusting from the high school three point line and pace of game to the college level. He demonstrated improvement and wasn't shooting at a 27% clip by the latter stages of the season and that includes going 0-3 against Wisky.
What was his FT percentage? Great shooters there get better from three with the additional year of experience. Most likely he won’t. A good shooter doesn’t miss like he did last year
