Unfortunate choice of club but glad you guys can watch together. I get kids in the US wanting to watch him.

Again it's just about Pulisic. Honestly I don't know why people would or would not like Chelsea, I don't really follow the actual league at all. For the record I've always had a very soft spot for Sunderland because I met and became friends with people from there once, got very excited about Sunderland 'Til I Die" on Netflix, only for it to be one of the most depressing watches possible.

I don't get the outrage either. It's probably tied to Abramovich's money and the subsequent success the team has had.

They are the original billionaire pumping his own money in club. They were nothing before Abramovoch came in and just overpaid for every player he felt they needed to win the PL and CL. With that came a bunch of new paper trophy chasing racist fans (The “Chavs”). Plus Mourinho was the coaching architect and he’s a total dooshbag. Basically ended a long era in English football now everyone is disillusioned with it because it’s just a constant arms race at the expense of clubs being “clubs” where the fans felt a part of it. **** Chelski.

My best mate's dad stopped watching football after they won it.

Did this gentleman have any thoughts on Leicester winning the league?

Seems a little crazy to fire Lampard now. Yes, Chelsea weren't getting the results they wanted yet, but man, I would have thought he'd be given a longer period of time (at least through the season and into next) to try and make this team mesh. As a coach, why would you want to go coach for Abrahmovic where there is next to no job security? Abrahmovic seems a little overly demanding and detached from reality. Given the legendary status Lampard has, I have to imagine a lot of the long-time / loyal supporters around London can't be happy with this change so quickly.

I wonder how it will effect Pulisic? Will be interesting to see if Chelsea turn it around with a new approach.

I think that Lampard just did a lot of poor business. They spent 250 million on players that haven’t transitioned well to the premier league (except Chillwell who was already in the league and Mendy). On the pulisic note, I think he’s been one of their best and most creative players in his time there so I’d hope their new coach realizes that.

Tuchel took over at Dortmund when Klopp left for Liverpool so he’s plenty familiar with Pulisic. I’m not sure what kind of relationship they had when working together in Germany, but Tuchel will have prior knowledge with Pulisic already banked.
