**MAFIA - College Basketball Tournament Edition**

I worked with the football team during college and got to go to basketball games for free in pretty decent seats. Awesome perk until my senior year which was our first crappy year (first year post Monte/Matt/Naz)

Yup. brought my cousin who was a year younger than me to the Kansas game that year, the gold out. Ended it with the Virginia game in the UC. (took an additional semester so I claim the 15-16 team too haha) Was an awesome time to be a cyclone fan.

This will forever be my most favorite game I attended. It’s the got to be the longest time ever 100 decibels was sustained. Even through the media timeouts. Insane atmosphere that night.

The second half of that OU game was nuts. I can’t say that it was the single loudest moment that I’ve heard in Hilton, but the sustained loudness of that comeback was really special. I’ve never heard it be that loud for that long of a time before.

I will never apologize for posting that video around here. You hear the crowd will them back into that game and you could see the look on Georges face “**** this, I’m not losing my last game in here”. You have to live through some of those lean, cluster **** years in order to truly appreciate great nights like that in Cyclone lore.
