Player A doesn't play enough for Team Z, so transfers to Team X
Player B doesn't play enough for Team X, so transfers to Team Z.
Repeat 500 times. Nothing really changed.

13 is the number of scholarships you can give out per year. not sure how many is the max player’s that can suit up >13
I think you're right with 15 being the number but I'm not sure if covid rules expanded that for this year.

Used to be that players stayed for 4 years and really developed a relationship with the school and fans (such as Georges, Monte, Grayer). Now, it's a free-for-all of movement. It is getting harder as a fan to have the same interest as I had in the past. I have been a season ticket holder since the Orr days.

This caught my attention. Break down of schools with multiple players in the portal. UNLV has 10 currently. Which is dwarfed by UT Martin with 15...

How can you have 15 players transferring?
Tennessee Martin was the school where the head coach died suddenly in Nov. His son transferred to Indiana and is now in the portal again. Not sure what is going on. Looks like a complete team re-boot.
Yeah, sad. Must be complete re-boot at UT Martin.

Whoa...UNLV has 10? Geez, you would think with some stability by hiring an on staff Kruger, with his pedigree, etc., that many wouldn't be transferring. Of course, we know a lot of players enter and like to be re-recruited and stay after checking out their options.
