Anyone else hearing that JP has already decided Prohm is coming back?

Fred’s “chuck up 3’s” offense honestly doesn’t look that different than Prohm’s offense, except they shoot quicker. No clue why people think that would suddenly work again if Fred came back if it’s not working with Prohm.

Because reasons.

Fred knows Nebraska is a job he can’t win enough at to get that next job. Not even his fault, it’s the very foundation of that program

he knows he can do that here. The limitations aren’t as strident here.

Until its official, he is still the coach, and since there has been NO announcement, it will stay that way until Prohm is canned.

Yes, I do believe ISU will fire him at the end of the year, but we are not there yet, no matter what you and I think.

But why the long and ambling posts that have already been made multiple times by multiple people.

of course he’s going to lose his job.

you guys act like Jamie pollard doesn’t pay any attention to what’s happening in his programs, especially one as important as men’s basketball

What I said a few weeks ago still stands, and no other copy/paste type post will change it.

the only way Steve Prohm is the coach at Iowa State next year is if the money isn’t there to pay him to leave. The money is there.

So if JP says in a few days that CSP is coming back for next season, what are we suppose to do about it? I'll still support ISU basketball anyway. It's just our optimism will have to wait a year because Prohm isn't going to miraculously turn this program around...he's run it straight into the ground.

Over the past few weeks, I've talked to a a few people who I would consider to be in the "know". From what I've heard one of two things are going to happen. Either Prohm is our coach next year, or Hoiberg is our coach next year. I'm not sure there is an in-between based off what I've heard. I also have absolutely no idea how reliable any of my sources are, so take it for what it's worth.

Prohm will not be our coach next year.
