Late bloomer? Curious as to why a 4 star from Clearwater, FL player doesn't have more offers
He was supposed to announce top schools soon then picked up 5 more offers the past 9 days. Iowa State offered January 28, 2020 (since 247 didn't catch that offer).

247 shows Iowa State as one of his “warm” schools with an offer. I’m not sure where you’re getting it from that 247 didn’t include his offer from us.

that's some insane weight for a high schooler, but the forum is kind of ****, doesn't even get to a 90/parallel, I know my HS strength coach wouldn't even count that as a rep.
edit I see it's a box squat now.. but IDK really. looks to have a weight there as a spacer as well.

You don’t do 90 degree squats (at least heavy ones) anymore. Too rough on the knees.

My HS football coach really started emphasizing doing 90 degrees squats. After a couple years, we had players blowing out their knees more frequently.

Mine did also(but that was late 80s). If we weren’t going low enough he would stick a chair under us. My kids’ coaches make sure that aren’t doing that. Although they still have a rash of knee injuries.

sadly, my coach was doing that in the early 2000s and should have known this. Luckily, he adjusted by the time I was a Senior, but I already stopped playing by then.
