I think we will be fine...as long as we don't wear the unis from the bowl game last year. Same ones vs OSU as well I believe. Come out in the all Cardinal and win by 10.
FWIW, Tom Herman stated on his Coach's Show that Iowa State made more plays and deserved to win. He said, it's not like they stole it from us or something like that. Have to admit after watching his Conference and Weekly Post Game Show, he handled himself well. Compare that to the whining on the OU Show after they lost to ISU, it was a breath of fresh air. As for Reece Davis, He can call 1-800- 555-Waah!

You would have to have all of that and then Notre Dame beat Clemson handily with Lawrence to have a remote crack at it. Let's just win out and see where the chips fall. Losing twice did us in, so we only have ourselves to blame. Change either of those to wins and there would be a shot.
It would be cool to make the CFP even with the fact Alabama would absolutely steam roll us. Anyone who says it would be better to win a lesser bowl game (even NY6) than get blown out in the CFP is crazy. There are only a handful of teams to ever make the CFP, and little old Iowa State would be one of them.
Again though, it would take insane amounts of crazy these next couple of weeks for us to even sniff a chance at it, so nobody get their hopes up.

I’m not sure what Reece’s deal is. I like him but he’s been salty about ISU this year when last year he was great for the Cyclones for hosting Gameday. The Bear is the only ESPN guy who was bullish on the Clones this year (last year was Desmond).
