Now that I've had time to update my notes, I'm inclined to agree with you. It was pretty clear that WDSM was going down, but they rescinded off him within just a few minutes of each other and voted for bsalty.
Edit - I misread. It was azhuth & colorado that rescindedf, not cleaver.
Cleaver did have a pretty late pile on vote, but he hasn't been much of a morning poster iirc, so he may have been like me - came in late and found out holy crap - it's a half day already.
I was dumb enough to think that we should try to vote someone else out if we knew that he could block his own ousting
Okay - I hear ya.
But consider this - if he didn't get voted out this morning (ie - if you had succeeded in moving bsalty past him), then he would simply hold on to the perk until he needed it )unless I missed a notation that the perk had to be used today). Delaying the inevitable, so to speak.
And in this case it worked out well, considering WDSM was Nemesis.
Azuth, Cleaver, and Michael need to explain their votes that led to the death of Moores and saved WDSM. I am very confident at least one of them is mafia.

Last night would’ve been a werewolf bite, so someone was infected and I’m assuming no night report except for maybe who Jill decided to **** up?
My top two targets today are azhuth and Cleaver, in that order. Both voted for BSalty on day 2 when WDSM was starting to pick up heat (azhuth when it was closer), and both rescinded to vote for Moores during the power hour. Makes me think neither wanted to risk losing WDSM but both were willing to save him since he was Nemesis.
OK here's my completely honest explanation and take it for what it's worth. We've had seven mafia games since restarting in 2020 and I've been a regular inno in every one (including initially being assigned the jack of all trades in Survivor only to have it ripped away and declared regular inno).
I typically drop in at some point in the day, leave a vote, and wait to see what happens and am usually wrong. Two reasons for the late rescinds.
1. I was hoping somebody else had a better read on mafia than me.
2. I wanted to be involved in some of the chaos to try and increase my interest in the game a bit.
