I read that China sells A LOT of tickets for Bond films, so this makes sense.

I kind of agree with the second statement, except I'm also really looking forward to Wonder Woman 1984.

All the pre-Craig films are banned in China, so it makes sense they would be popular there. Also there are rumors that the plot of the movie deals with a virus so it would be really bad timing.

Not sure whether you'll be able to read this on the DMRegister site (try opening in private window) but it's about a 21-year-old motorcycle rider from Nemaha in Sac County who was killed yesterday near Ames when he lost control and was hit by an SUV, coincidentally - driven by the Story County Engineer. The last sentence of this article is absolutely not relevant to the story, but hey, DMR is trying to sound valuable. The last sentence is "It wasn't immediately known why Pickhinke was in the Ames area."
If you'd do the obvious and look in the ISU directory, you might have found the answer therefore eliminating the stupid question.

Was walking north along Starbucks when a motorcycle driver hammered down on it from the union and got up to a pretty good clip yesterday. They definitely showed up more with the nicer weather.

Allergies kicked in, full force today. These drops I’ve been on haven’t done sh*t yet for them.

There was an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that dealt with a possible school shooting that was slotted to air either a week or two weeks after Columbine. That got yanked quicker than you could blink. They eventually aired the episode in September.

Or trying to rhyme someone named Delores. I met a Delores once....she was from Martha's Vineyard or somewhere around there.

24 premiered a couple weeks after September 11th. They almost canned the series due to a plane explosion in the first episode. I believe they edited it so you don't actually see the plane explode.

Have you tried Flonase? Works really well for me.
Yes and every time I do I violently sneeze for 25 min and feel like I just snorted everclear and look like I got punched in the face. I hear ya though. I know it works well for me but for whatever reason I just can’t do that stuff.

I pop a couple pseudoephedrine (what you have to give your ID for at the pharmacy thanks to the meth heads) and it opens it up well.

Back off to DM again in a bit. Stopping in Ames to pick up oldest when he’s done with class.

Then back home again. Other parents won’t leave the kids alone. Chase them around like it’s a family vacation. Who the hell wants their parents around when you are in HS and get to hang out with a group of friends for something you accomplished? A bunch of parents reliving through their kids. It’s very sad.

Just wondering.....are any RTTers hooked on FreeCell (computer solitaire game) like I am? Currently I am working on a 15,000+ winning streak. I haven't found a game yet that is unsolvable. (Remember that the "Undo" button is your friend.)

Yes, I know - this probably makes me a geek.

If you could go down to DM next Friday and pick up my daughter and drive here up to the NW Twin Cities, that would be great.
