I don't know exactly why, but I've enjoyed Clemson's Evil Empire.

They're doing blue blood things (or better) without being a blue blood.

We heard all year about their conference schedule and so far tonight it doesn't matter.

Just three down lineman on defense...where have I seen that formation before....

They (assume you are talking Clemson) bring two LB's on either side often. Especially on run plays and they move around a ton more than we did. We are much farther back and more predictable.

Of course it doesn't matter. The only thing a hard schedule does is A.) prove you are a good or maybe great team.. B) beat your team up.

Give ISU that kind of talent and they're likely doing the same.

Clemson can be aggressive with it while ISU has to be preventative although ISU seemed to at least do more with a better secondary.

Not everyone likes Dabo, but there is no denying how great of a coach he is. He built Clemson into a monster.

Yeah and he can use it...even yesterday the ESPN radio heads were referencing 'little ol' Clemson'. They've just been straight up better.

There are plenty of teams that play similarly. There is no reason we shouldn't bring one or two guys up, especially on run plays. If you are really that scared of putting DB's on an island then you can still give them safety help. It's not like I want to run it all the time but occasionally is not only nice but neccessary.

Back in the two team playoff era this defending champ 29-0 record Clemson team could have been left out.
Was just thinking the same thing the other day. The BCS was an awful system.

Even if they lose tonight, the idea that they could have been passed over at 29-0 is all one needs to know that expanding to at least four was absolutely necessary.
