Prohm to Alabama?

Maybe Chris doesnt know that hes actual not in the know, ya know?

This.

There was a lot of heat on Prohm when things started to fall apart towards the end of the season. There is also a possibility that we could be looking at a rebuilding year next year. On the flip side of it, if all things stay as is we could be a top 15 team.

With success comes even higher expectations, which causes more pressure. There was a tweet from Lyndsey Fennelly that alluded to Prohms wife being very stressed out and about the haters being awfully quiet right now after the tourney championship. If mama ain't happy; nobody is happy!

If Prohm left and Hoiberg came back, isnt that really the best case scenario?
If Prohm left, Hoiberg goes somewhere that pays more, Otz is waiting in the wings. Even trade
I dont see a losing situation either way.

So everyone seems to be in agreement that Otz is like the girl on the hook. Fair, he wanted to job when Fred left.
Has he made comments about isu since then. I guess I just thought it was odd everyone seems to think he would be holding the door for Prohm if he left.

No, best case is Prohm stays as he's doing a great job. Hoiberg leaves the midwest and has his own success. Otz continues to get experience. Fans somehow learn to control expectations and emotions on both sides of the W/L column.

Jamie spends more time tweeting about than he does about TJ than he does about Prohm.

I don't want to lose Prohm and I'll support Otz if he gets hired in that scenario. Hopefully Jamie does an actual coaching search though.

This and if it's true of mass player defections why wouldn't he get the **** out of Ames.

Uncle Randy is pushing hard to win his Pulitzer Prize. Trying to push the narrative that Prohm is headed back to Alabama.

Don't worry guys, I'll coach the team next year. Signing the contract shortly.

This is the correct response.

But the anti prohm people will be here when we lose to go after him.

Has to be tough for a spouse or family member to read. Remember the ******** being written as late as last Wednesday, and of course during the K State game.

Will you all shut up?!

Thank you!
You make a good point but she doesn't quite have the body of work (I'm not sure if the pun is intended or not), in reference to number of Gifs, that JLH does.

It's funny reading Bama's boards on this subject. More often than not, they're bringing up both Prohm and Fred. Neither is going to happen, of course, but many of them seem to have already convinced themselves that Prohm will be their next coach. That fan base has gotten a little out of check because of their football program.
Dude, I used to work with a guy who went to Alabama so now all him and his Alabama buddies are doing is going on about how Alabama is going to land Prohm. They keep telling me that Alabama has a better basketball history (not really), they have more fan support (no way), their program is a billion times better than ours (football, sure, but basketball is definitely not) and that going to Tuscaloosa would be a huge upgrade for Prohm’s coaching career. I disagree with everything these clowns are saying because Alabama basketball has been completely irrelevant since they were the 2 seed back in 2002 and got demolished and completely embarrassed by Kent State in the second round of the dance.

Mostly agree.
If JP cannot help himself but to give his friend the job without a legitimate search, I hope he at least gives Otz an elite budget for assistants.
Also, Jenkins coming, too, wouldn’t hurt.
