Almost everything I’m seeing right now has us in Houston which really surprises me a lot.
Texas A&M in Houston still excites me though. I think finally playing a big name in a bowl would be a nice change in pace for once.If we could not have to play a Texas team in Texas, that would be great.

A big name might be fun, but I fear right now that A&M would lay the wood to us in a bad way.
Good thing we don't play them right now.
Got hotels booked in both San Antonio and Orlando. Can't wait until next week to find out
But what if we're in Houston, lol
And if Texas wins, they also go to the Sugar Bowl, and OU is certain to get an at-large NY6 bowl. I think the only scenario where the Big 12 doesn't have two NY6/CFP teams is if OU wins in unimpressive fashion and misses the CFP. I'm tempted to want Texas to win that game to guarantee two NY6 teams.JP said on the pregame show that if OU makes the playoffs, by default Texas would go to the Sugar. The Camping Bowl rep was also on the show. He said several times they would love to pick ISU but he acted hesitant if ISU would be available. AKA even the Camping Bowl rep thinks ISU will be going to San Antonio.
OU beats Texa$, OU doesn't make CFP...goes to Sugar, Texa$ goes to Alamo, WV to Camping World, ISU to Houston.I still don't understand how Houston would be a possibility
Agree with almost all of that but I could see PS being chosen over Texas if it’s a SE game like the Peach. And why does everyone assume if Tx loses to OU that Tx wouldn’t make a NY6? Tx will be ranked maybe 10th or 11th in CFP poll this Tuesday?
if you finish in top 15 you can make it....Actually u don’t even have to finish in Top 15 to make NY6.
So you think Penn state or Northwestern will get to a NY6 over Texas? I don’t.
All I see is prediction of 3 BIG teams making NY6 and I don’t know why. Ohio state and Michigan are locks....No way NW makes NY6 losing to tOSU. And i dont see Penn State being taken over Texas.
Houston is full of hotels. Don't worry about finding one.
