Well it has also become very customary to thank god/jesus for pretty much every athletic accomplishment.

Regarding your post, there was a comedian in the 90s - maybe John Stewart? Or Seinfeld? - who had a bit about football players that win thanking God and ones that lose blaming themselves. He said it would be funny if it someone reversed that - "We were doing great until Jesus made me fumble." That probably wouldn't play well with a lot of crowds.

Yep, he’s got everything you want in a recruit. Having that from the QB position is critical. The future of the WR/QB positions is exciting. We’re going to put up some points.
