Honestly just skimmed it. But if Mannix is an assistant coach he could still come here, is the way I see it.
Nope. Even if fired he can't come here.
ISU hired Tim Mannix as a graduate assistant in video editing and player development this past summer. Mannix had previously worked with Yakwe as a coach in the Team Scan AAU program in New York. Under NCAA legislation, programs that hire former AAU coaches to positions below that of an assistant coach position are unable to recruit players that staff member has worked with for two years - See more at: http://amestrib.com/hines-hoops/yakwe-talks-future-while-isu-visit#sthash.QHh0DGOc.dpuf
Didn't Kentucky hire an old coach of Diallo? I hate the NCAA
Do we really need a video editor?
Hahaha. Welp, it's KU for both Diallo and Yakwe.
On a less cynical and more factual note, Jason Smith, Brewster Prep Head coach is now following Yakwe.
This concerns me a bit. How would he get any minutes playing behind McKay, Georges, Diallo, and Nader? He's good an I wont deny that but I don't think he's going to want to reclassify just to sit on the bench. Only way I see this playing out as a positive for us is if there is more than basketball behind him reclassifying. It just bothers me that St. John's is also going after both and loses 7 senior for next season too. Even after I thought of all that seeing he's reclassifying has me excited that we could pull in 2 big recruits at once.
you think he's worried about playing behind Nader?
Brewster has been good to us. Hopefully that's where he ends up
Since Nader will start next season if we don't get Diallo, yes, I do think that.
