Walking Dead

Looks like we're starting to get season 2 "Prison Rick" again. Does that mean Carl is going to turn into a little ***** again?

I'm not sure what you all are talking about because that was a great episode. It's kind of become en vogue to bash walking dead even though this is the best season by far. I don't know how you can say the pacing is slow when they just went 500 miles. I'm actually really disappointed they didn't show those 500 miles, but they're finally getting some pay off of storylines they set up previously. Seeing Tyrese slowly slip into madness was pretty brilliant and original for the show too.

And I can't wait for what's coming but I read the comics. LOTS of foreshadowing in tonight's episode.

Agreed
Some people will complain about anything. That slow motion head explosion from Rick was nuts.
Also, regarding the foreshadowing, I presume you were talking about the bat?

Don't open unless you seriously want to be spoiled.

It's pretty clear they are setting up Negan and that Richmond camp got messed up by him. Someone drove through their walls, cut the survivors in half, and then keep the corpses. That's gotta be the Saviors. Plus Glen's days are numbered since he just found Lucile and from the sound of their conversation maybe Glen actually let Negan out at Terminus. That is way outside of his range in DC, but I could see that being one of his followers. Or maybe it was him and he just has been following Rick's group. The rest of this season could be insane with Negan maybe even showing up for the season finale even though that's way ahead of the comic.

I have been really impressed with this season. I was ready to give the show up after the Governor. Man they messed that up.

I don't read comic books, I'm going strictly off of the TV show. Losing Tyreese just didn't hit the "I give a crap" button on me. He's always been very vanilla and, quite frankly, kind of a *****. The only way my mind will be blown is if a Season One character dies. When that happens I'll be floored.

Continuity problem!

The "In Memoriam" segment on Talking Dead, they show them covering Tyreese with the sheet in his grave. He's wearing his stocking cap. But when Rick is finishing the burial, the stocking cap is ontop of the cross.

Unless he had two...

Are Rick, Carl, Daryl, and Glen the only season 1 characters left? (Wasn't Maggie season 2?) Oh! And Carol.

He is a complete *****. I'm actually glad he's gone, but he's that way for a reason. He never wanted to be apart of that world and always felt conflicted with the stuff the group had to do to survive even after Rick and the others came to terms with it. The hallucinations and flashbacks set that up and the radio was brilliant as it was filled with symbolism for Tyrease's struggle with all that had happened.

And try using the DVR to skip through the commercials because that does help with the suspense of the show. WD has certainly had horrible, dumb pace in the past, but I didn't think tonight was bad.

Just thought of something...

I want to go back and listen to the radio voice. I want to see if I can tell if that's Andrew Lincoln in his natural accent. (Or closer to his natural accent)

Edit: Okay, Greg Nicotero on Talking Dead just admitted it was Andrew Lincoln. I was right!

That's his hair, not the hat.

Who is chopping up the Z's?

Just got done watching the episode. There was something painted in white on a wall inside the housing development along the lines of "Wolves are near." I'll have to go back and see exactly what it was. And I'm pretty sure there was a "W" carved in the forehead of one of the top half zombies that fell out of the back of that truck.

Just found it...."Wolves not far" painted on a brick wall in the scene where Noah breaks down just after entering the estates. And the legless zombies all seemed to have W's carved in their foreheads. At least all of the ones where you get a look at their forehead.

I don't blame him. I've gotten in trouble before for staring too hard at a pair of twins. You have to be discrete about that stuff.

I could be wrong but one of the Twins' eyes was looking off to the side like watch out behind you tyrese

So it isn't Ash? Disappointed.
