Jackson Kiss changes commitment to UNLV

I know that CW and others say that this isn't related to Milan, but they'd be doing themselves a disservice to not at least kick the tires here.
Sure, Kentucky might have more money, but if there was ever a time to shake the trees it would be now. I also have to think he'd be willing to take somewhat less to come back as long as it was competitive
You think now that we have room we can kick the tires on getting Milan back?

We’ve already kicked them until our toes bled. We always had room for Milian if we had the money for him plus filling other needs. Kiss doesn’t free up much money

Maybe a certain donor can dish out like 4 million so we can make an offer at least
I hope Milan is a first rounder and stays in the draft. But now that a roster spot is open there is no way In hell he should play for another college. If it comes to that get the big donors to buck up and all us average people to give way more than we should to buy a college athlete. I am in.

Interesting timing. Has to be mutual because you aren't voluntarily going from ISU to UNLV this late in the game (or any other time for that matter).

TJ knows something.

That No Creativity/jereisb poster would say TJ ran him off and that plus 20 year olds playing 25 minutes in bye games (he'd say 36) are why ISU loses in the tourney.

If mommy came back it would be the reverse of everything Iowa State ever. What really would happen he announces his commited back to us and then the next day announce he’s staying in the draft. That’s the Iowa State move

It sucks, but we shouldn’t match UK and Louisville’s offer for Milan.

Maybe if sign and trades were possible

That's the first thing that came to mind, but it may be more about playing time with the bigs on our current roster, incoming recruits, and transfers. Or, Otz may have yet another transfer stud he prefers.

Too bad, I think he's going to be a very good player.
With 5 years to play 5 being a possibility, there are some roster possibilities. I guy like Leon Bond could be here 2 years.

Could also be a situation to get more playing time but keep in touch down the road.

The spring semester just ended, grades due today. Yes, it's early. He hasn't even been in a practice yet.
Should Pierce have been "allowed" to decommit last summer after being in workouts? Or, since the perception is that he wasn't good enough, it's ok?

I honestly don't think Milan is about the money, I don't think we'd need to match or beat what UK is offering if the NBA falls through.
I don't know Milan at all but on the outside he seems to be a pretty humble and loyal person. Last year JJ had many offers for more money and stayed with us because he believed in TJ. TJ is the new "Coach K" of college basketball I could be wrong, but as long as there is a spot for Milan and he wants to come back, money is down on his list.

I get it, really. He probably didn't think he was going to immediately get the playing time he wanted. In today's NIL world, his decision is probably the most lucrative. He's going to get time on court at UNLV. If he does well, it will mean a better chance at a NIL deal the following year.
