That's the first thing that came to mind, but it may be more about playing time with the bigs on our current roster, incoming recruits, and transfers. Or, Otz may have yet another transfer stud he prefers.

It’s not that he just de committed , it’s that he committed at the exact same time. So this has to have been know for a little bit with all parties involved. Which makes me think TJ just kind of told him we don’t have a spot right now or the money for him but would help him behind the scenes
With Singleton and Manning coming in, he's probably 3rd string next year which isn't going to be much, if any PT. Then he'd be backup to Singleton for a couple of years. This was probably inevitable unless he blew up and outplayed those guys this year. He just did it a year early.

I honestly don't think Milan is about the money, I don't think we'd need to match or beat what UK is offering if the NBA falls through.
I want to agree with you, but if the NBA falls through it seems Iowa State isn’t even an option at this point. So for now I think it’s a tiny bit about the money if he returns to college.
