Just got home from Iowa City to Algona by way of Mason City. We drove through a small window north of Charles City, on Ave of Saints. Got 3 rain drops. 10 minutes later Tornadoes to the north and TStorms to the south. The boss timed the trip perfectly. Hope nobody got hurt it that storm.

I had to go to Owatonna and got drenched going down main in Albert lea. Left for Owatonna and it was still 73 a few miles out. Stopped for about an hour and when I hit Albert Lea it was 40 degrees.

Yup we went from 78-80 degrees in Iowa City to 46 degrees and 32 wind chill.

Been mostly a nothing burger for Des Moines this week. Not sad about that
