First time he's ever played anything close to a public course it sounds like.
Never watched, not a Saudi fan.
BUT the PGA was prison rules to the players…and it got real clear, real fast once they saw their cash cows leaving that they could have afforded to pay way more.
They shouldn’t be allowed to have a monopoly on players.

Never watched it, but I also don’t get all the hate for the guys who played in it. They made millions of dollars they weren’t making even if they were winning every pga event.
I don’t get the hate. I watched a couple times. Wasn’t my thing but neither were the random pga tournaments. I pretty much watch the majors (which aren’t pga events), fedex, and Ryder cup.
I didn't like the split because it diluted the product of professional golf. The best should all be on one tour playing against each other every week. This idea of having competing tours doesn't make any sense because your just getting watered down golf.
It's 'cuz everyone forgot already that it was just a sportswashing front by Saudi political interests.
Seriously, look it up. That's the only reason it was created, and now why it's ceasing to exist. It was never intended to be a real sports league, it was only a distraction that got enough money pumped into it to make the PGA flinch a bit (but still win out long term anyway, 'cuz the LIV product was just that bad.) Tens of fans worldwide will miss LIV.
Doesn't the same people that started LIV also own the PGA? And didn't this happen after the "loyal" PGA players ripped into those that went to LIV, accusing them of chasing the Saudi bag?

I didn’t forget. If they’re offering me $50,000,000 a year to golf 10 times a year and can still play in the majors on the PGA tour, of course I’m taking it. You’d be a fool not too.
I meant the viewers, not the players. Of course they'll take the bag, especially all the completely over the hill ones who did. A large chunk of them also have played very, very poorly since doing so. If that was going to happen either way, I'd say they did right by themselves.

Yep, I've got plenty of tips for him on how to hit off concrete hard sand and the mud between grass patches.
