There are stupid people everywhere, just like people who cheer for both ISU and iowa.
I wish the best for the cyclones but I will be caring very very little about the rest of D1 athletics the way things may continue

Honestly might be time to find a D2 or D3 school to cheer for. At least it’s somewhat more “pure” there.
Big 10 sweeping WBB, CFB, wrestling and CBB is not some coincidence or luck.
And they’re very self-aware. Michigan fans are wearing the “Michigan Mercenaries” moniker with pride on social media.
And B18 schools have massive alumni spread all over the country. Huge advantage in size of donor base. SEC has similar TV revenue but smaller alumni bases. B12 has neither huge TV contract or huge alumni base. Gotta find a bunch of junk yard dogs w chips on their shoulders who love playing insane defense.
