Paycom coming in clutch for Oklahoma
Little known fact... Paycom actually offered Oklahoma the money to get a big name coach and NIL rolling before they did Okie State...allegedly Oklahoma said "naa...we good"...must have come to their senses....
Well them finally coming to their senses might just lead them to a top 10 finish next year.
I still have my doubts. They’ve had some rough injuries past few years too.
You’re definitely not wrong there but they are definitely in a better spot with some of these portal adds.
I feel like their portal adds thus far arent much better (if at all) than what they lost.
My opinion only though and I could certainly be wrong.

He's not wrong, but also not the only program that is going through this. And some of his geography is off.
Hard to disagree with Ayres too much. Feel bad for him, but that is the way it is right now. Also, I see he failed to mention grad school which is supposedly a significant challenge for some of these guys.
When there is all the talk about who could replace Brands, or any major coach, I’m surprised Ayres isn’t brought up. He has done a lot at two programs without the history or resources. That is someone I’d take a serious look at if I was a an AD.
When Dresser retires, I wouldn’t be upset at all if Ayres is the head coach and David Carr is associate head or something like that.

He acts like if he had the funding he wouldn’t dip his toes in the Portal to get guys. Give me a break, he’d do it just like every other coach does including Cael.

Small little thing…….but dude needs to take a geography class. To learn that most of rhe NCAA titles have been won by schools west of the Mississippi.
